Katy Perry reveals how Orlando Bloom raised the question

The singer appeared Monday night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and revealed that Bloom had taken their relationship to new heights when he had asked her to marry him in a helicopter over Los Angeles.

"I thought we were going to see some art after dinner, but we stopped at a helicopter," Perry said. "But it was really nice."

However, in a scene reminiscent of a romantic comedy, Perry said things were not going according to plan.
