Keanu Neal was injured in the leg just before half-time on Saturday against the Colts. This became evident when he threw away his helmet with frustration and that he was crying by the time the training staff arrived at him. Although the pain certainly played a role in his emotional state, what probably added was the fact that he was barely a year old to suffer from a tearing of the LCA ending the season during the first week of the 2018 season, and he thought that this injury probably lost the same time.
Of course, none of that mattered to the match officials, who saw Neal remove his helmet from the field and sanctioned him for unsportsmanlike conduct. The Colts accepted the penalty and shots of Neal sobbing on a cart were shown as the ball was again spotted.
Neal would have he's injured Achilles tendon and was sidelined for the rest of the match. We will update this message with more information as soon as it is available.
