Keanu Reeves immortalized in cement at the Chinese theater

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) – Actor Keanu Reeves has spent his day in an excellent adventure.

On Tuesday, he cemented his place in Hollywood history books by placing his handprints and his signature on the outside of the TCL Chinese Theater.

The 54-year-old star has nearly 100 films and TV roles to his credit.

At the ceremony, Reeves paid tribute to the talented artists with whom he has worked over the years. He also thanked his fans for allowing him to pursue a career in an industry he reveres.

"I love movies. My God, I love movies!" said Reeves. "I love watching them, I love doing them, it 's an honor to be here today to celebrate in this sacred place of Hollywood."

Laurence Fishburne and Halle Berry were some of the friends and co-stars who joined Keanu.

His new film, "John Wick 3" is showing on Friday.
