Cyberpunk 2077 star Keanu Reeves has played the game and is very impressed with it.

So said CD Projekt chairman and co-CEO Adam Kiciński, when asked what the actor thinks of the upcoming title during a call for results on Wednesday.

“He played the game,” Kiciński said (transcribed by Seeking Alpha). “But as far as I know, I haven’t finished yet. So – but definitely he played the game and he loves it.

Reeves, who plays “legendary rockerboy” Johnny Silverhand in the game, took center stage in last week’s Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire stream.

Explaining what drew him to the role, he said, “You can play a character in so many different ways due to different paths, threads, or choices, so you can almost play for a while, let’s say you have a decision, with three different behavioral attitudes, so it was fun.

During its earnings call on Wednesday, CD Projekt also addressed the recently leaked gameplay showing the uncorrected physical version of the game running on PS4, which a consumer posted online after getting an early copy.

CD Projekt said there was “no negative impact” from a recent gameplay leak

“Regarding the leak, luckily there weren’t too many spoilers because it’s the ugliest thing to install the game before release. So it was not harmful, ”Kiciński said.

Shortly after the leak, CD Projekt released the first official Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay running on PS4 Pro and PS5 via backward compatibility. The video highlighted some of the same areas as the leaked footage and included a number of fixes coming in a Day 1 patch on December 10.

Kiciński also said that CD Projekt has delayed the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC reveal until the game’s release, and that the company plans to discuss its separate Cyberpunk multiplayer game early next year.
