Keanu Reeves has seen many ups and downs in his career since his appearance in the very popular 1994 action film Speed.
In the May issue of GQ magazine, the 54-year-old actor states that he's a movie star for more than three decades, revealing that his choice of jobs has led to being placed in a "prison" to film ".
After the success of Speed, Reeves says that he refused to play in Speed 2 play Hamlet in Canada. The role of the film of 1997 returns finally to Jason Patric.
"I did not work with [Fox] again until that The day the earth stopped"he tells the magazine. The day the earth stopped was released in December 2008, more than 14 years after his lead role in Speed.

As for the return to action movies with the popularity of John Wick franchise, Reeves says that he is not opposed to doing more sequels. "As far as my legs can carry me," he says speaking of continuing to represent John Wick. "As far as the public wants it."
Reeves says that what really put things in perspective for him, is when he worked with Anthony Quinn in 1995 A walk in the clouds. At the time, Quinn was 80 years old. "Always in a hurry," he says of his co-star. "I was like," Whoa. "
Recalling a moment on the set with Quinn, Reeves said that he had asked her if "it was always going to be like that", to which Quinn replied "Yes".
