ESPN's Keith Olbermann on Tuesday urged his supporters to turn the life of a citizen into a "living hell" because the man had killed a white turkey during the turkey hunt.

the Mississippi Clarion Ledger Monday reported that the aptly named Hunter Waltman had been surprised, during a recent hunting trip, to meet a completely white wild turkey. After more than three hours of bird hunting, he managed to kill with a rifle at a hundred meters. Experts contacted by the Clarion Ledger suggested that the bird was a partial albino and quite rare, perhaps "one in several hundred thousand individuals".

Olbermann obviously did not care about history, embarrassing Waltman on social media and mocking him. "It's rare and beautiful so I should kill him," he said. Sports Center the host tweeted.

"This deer bastard calls himself Hunter Waltman and we should do our best to make sure the rest of his life is hell," he told his 1.08 million followers. "And the naive clown who wrote this piece must be fired."

the Clarion Ledger Editor-in-chief Sam Hall expressed his support for journalist Brian Broom. "What did I think I'd imagine I should have fired our street writer for his article about a hunter who had killed an unusual turkey during the turkey hunting season?" it's mocked.

"Keith Olbermann's tweet was recklessly irresponsible," Hall said, adding that "in our newsroom it would be a fire-related offense."

With regard to the dismissal, Olbermann was fired several times by MSNBC, Fox Sports, Current TV and GQ and had already been fired twice by ESPN prior to his current term.

"We told him not to make personal attacks," ESPN said in a statement.

Olbermann also appeared in an advertisement for the Boston Market selling his turkey-based BLT sandwich.

the Washington Free Beacon can not confirm how many slaughtered turkeys were white.
