Keke out, questionable King for NFC title game

The Green Bay Packers listed just two players with injury designations on the team’s final injury report ahead of the NFC Championship game.

Defensive lineman Kingsley Keke will miss his third straight game with a concussion, while cornerback Kevin King is considered doubtful after suffering a back injury this week. King did not practice on Friday.

Coach Matt LaFleur said he would give King a starter at the cornerback the rest of the week to prepare for the game.

“I hope he will be ready to go on Sunday,” LaFleur said on Friday.

King did not play in the first meeting with the Buccaneers. The Packers have just added veteran cornerback Tramon Williams to the practice squad, adding an extra layer of depth to Sunday’s position. If King can’t make it Josh Jackson and Ka’dar Hollman are both available and Williams could be high off the practice squad

Not having Keke anymore is a big blow, considering what he could have provided as an inside runner against Tom Brady. Harrison Snacks will likely be active again on Sunday.

The LaFleur team had a lot of good news. Kicker Mason Crosby has no injury designation and will play against the Buccaneers. He injured his shoulder on a sloppy extra point in last week’s win over the Rams. The Packers will also have running back AJ Dillon, who is battling an ATV injury but has no injury designation for Sunday.

Linebacker Krys Barnes (thumb) and running back Jamaal Williams (ankle), both new additions to the injury report this week, will also play.

The Buccaneers have ruled wide receiver Antonio Brown and called rookie safety Antoine Winfield Jr. questionable.
