Project details are being kept under wraps, but Peele once again wrote the screenplay and directed and produced. Ian Cooper of Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions is also producing.

The film already has a July 22, 2022 release date.

Senior Vice President of Production Sara Scott and Creative Director Tony Ducret oversee the project on behalf of Universal.

Palmer appears regularly on television and in movies, featured in recent shows Star and Scream: The TV Series while also appearing in films such as the splashy hit, Hustlers. Last year, she won a Daytime Emmy nomination for co-hosting Strahan, Sara and Keke and posted a video aimed at increasing voter turnout that went viral.

Kaluuya is currently winning high praise for playing Black Panther Party leader Fred Hampton in Warners’ Judas and the Black Messiah. The role earned him a Golden Globe and a SAG nomination.
