Kelly Preston died in her family home in Florida, a death certificate from the late actress confirms.
Preston, who starred in films such as “Jerry Maguire” and “Twins,” died in July at the age of 57 after battling breast cancer for two years. Her husband, John Travolta, confirmed her passing on Instagram.
According to a death certificate obtained by Us Weekly, the actress died at her and Travolta’s home in Clearwater, Fla., At 11:46 a.m. on July 12.
Her body was then transferred to a funeral home and she was subsequently cremated at the Brooksville Crematorium in Brooksville, Florida, the newspaper reports.

“It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly lost her two-year battle with breast cancer,” Travolta wrote on Instagram a day after her passing. “She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.”
He continued, “My family and I will be forever grateful to his doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers who have helped, and his many friends and relatives who have been by his side. Kelly’s love and life will be forever remembered. I will take the time to be there for my kids who have lost their mothers, so please forgive me in advance if you can’t hear us for a while. But know that I will be feeling your outpouring of love in the weeks and months to come as we heal. All my love, JT. “

Preston was born on October 13, 1962 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She studied theater at the University of Southern California and appeared in blockbuster films such as “Twins” in 1988, “Jerry Maguire” in 1996 and “For Love of the Game” in 1999.
Travolta and Preston met while filming “The Experts” in 1989. They married in 1991 in a midnight ceremony in Paris and have been together ever since. Her last film role was to portray Victoria Gotti in the 2018 movie “Gotti”. The film also starred Travolta as John Gotti in the lead role.

Preston is survived by her husband, 66, daughter Ella, 20, and son Benjamin, 9. Their son Jett died in 2009 at the age of 16.
