Kelly Ripa claims psychic disclosed first pregnancy on daytime show as she recalls 20 years

Kelly Ripa has revealed that a psychic disclosed her first pregnancy during a remote visit Wednesday on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The 50-year-old host of the daytime show made the revelation while reflecting on the 20th anniversary this month of co-hosting her morning show.

“I keep thinking it’s only been three years. I don’t understand the big deal, Kelly laughed.

Jimmy, 46, asked what she remembered about getting the job and if it was something she had always imagined.

‘No. Oh, no, no, no, Kelly replied. “I actually think that not having any anticipation at all about getting this job actually worked a lot to my advantage because I wasn’t chasing it.”

“ I was asked to fill in for a backup host at the last minute so it took away any stakes or nervousness that I probably would have had, ” Kelly added.

“ My only concern was that I was pregnant with our daughter Lola very early on and nobody knew, nobody knew, Mark and I knew and nobody else knew, ” Kelly said referring to her husband actor Mark Consuelos, 49 years old.

“ And they said, there’ll be a psychic and she’s going to give you a read, if you don’t mind, because we’re doing psychic week. I said to Mark, ‘I have to cancel, I can’t do this. And he said, ‘Oh, what, you think a psychic is going to find out that you’re pregnant? ”, “ She continued.

“I’m going,” “Well, what if she does? Isn’t that what mediums do. And Jimmy, not only did she figure out I was pregnant in three seconds, but she’s like your grandma Dee is here and I’m like, ‘No that’s not her name’ and she is “like Esther but her nickname is Dee”.

“I don’t know if I could handle this. This is wild stuff, Jimmy said.

Kelly was on the NBC talk show promoting her and Mark’s new Unearthed crime series which premiered last month on the Oxygen Network.

Each standalone episode of Exhumed involves digging up the body of a victim to solve a murder case.

Consecutive episodes of Exhumed will air on February 14.

“What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day,” snapped Kelly, who is an executive producer with Mark.

Kelly has 20-year-old daughter Lola, 17-year-old son Joaquin, and 23-year-old son Michael with husband Mark.
