Kelly Ripa kicked off her birthday party a day earlier on Friday’s episode of Live! With Kelly and Ryan.
The TV personality, who turns 51 on October 2, was joined by her husband and guest co-host Mark Consuelos, who surprised her with a cake and a bouquet of white roses.
‘Oh my God!’ Kelly exclaimed as Mark, 50, pulled out a serving cart to applause and cheers from the audience.

“Thank you, darling,” Ripa said as Consuelos pushed the cart to the center of the stage in front of her.
Mark then presented the bouquet to her. “Oh my God, my favorite! Kelly said with a hiccup before she and Consuelos lean forward to sniff the white roses.
– Thank you, thank you, continued Ripa. The longtime lovebirds, married for 25 years, then shared a tender kiss.

The beautiful two-tiered cake was decorated with pale pink frosting and gold leaf. It featured a golden glitter “Happy Birthday Kelly” cake.
“We received a cake from BCakeNY,” said Mark. Kelly responded enthusiastically, ‘Oh, is that BCakeNY? Oh, my God, this is a great pastry! “
“I love this pastry,” Ripa said as she lifted a cake server. – It’s gone, she said, cutting the dessert.

The Hope & Faith actress then learned that the cake had a “special Kelly filling.”
“The top is red velvet and the bottom is buttercream, lemon buttercream,” Mark added.
“Mmm,” Kelly said, taking a bite of the cake and licking her fingers. ‘Thanks a lot guys. Thanks everyone, I love you guys.
The Live! Along with Kelly and Ryan, the Instagram account shared videos and photos from the celebration.
In an adorable clip, Mark held out a fork of cake to give it to Ripa before she playfully bites him in the mouth.

Consuelos replaced Ryan Seacrest as guest host last week. Kelly joked on Wednesday that hosting the show with her husband was “touch and go.”
She went on to say that it reminded her of the time she and her future partner co-starred in All My Children.
“We worked together on a soap opera where we would work 10, 11, 12 hours together,” Mark explained.
The Riverdale star continued, “And then we decided to move out of town where we had a two minute ride, and we had to go together because all of our scenes were mostly together. Let’s call it 12 hours on set, then another hour back.
Adorable: In Wednesday’s episode, Mark said Kelly was his “little penguin” and that they were “lifelong buddies”
Kelly said Jay-Z and Madonna helped them with their commute.
“If it weren’t for those two albums, we wouldn’t be married,” she joked.
Mark said, ‘But kidding aside, you’re my little penguin.’
“I don’t care if there are 18 hour days and commutes, we’re married for life. We are friends for life, ”he added.
Consuelos and Ripa first met in 1995 on the set of the longtime soap opera. The couple married a year later. They share sons Michael, 24, and Joaquin, 18, and daughter Lola, 20.
The two have recently become empty nests after sending Joaquin to college in August.
