Friday, Live! Along with Kelly and Ryan, the host was spotted walking around New York City in a black sweatshirt that summed up her thoughts on 2020.

With colorful handwriting that read “This is such a nightmare,” in all caps, Ripa expressed her grievances in the form of clothes while going about her day.

Matching casual black rocker jogging pants, Ripa donned a pair of white sneakers with colorful orange and blue accents.

Her blonde hair pulled down in stylized waves, she wore a black backpack with hand sanitizer hanging from the zipper.

Dressed in a black mask and carrying her phone and glasses in her hand, Ripa was a woman on the go after returning to film her talk show.

On Thursday, Ripa shared her concerns with her fans after Ryan Seacrest co-hosted the show without her, instead of having Tamron Hall as a guest co-host.

Even though she was back to host on Friday, her absence from the show left die-hard Ripa fans worried that something had happened.

The couple who have been hosting the longtime talk show since 2017 only recently resumed filming on set amid the pandemic in October.

Many believed she had just taken a day off as her 24-year-old husband Mark Consuelos finally returned from Vancouver after being away for the past few months to film Riverdale.

Always the type with a playful sense of humor, Ripa said she was preparing for her return home with a hair removal device a few days before.

Kelly took to her Instagram yesterday to count her comeback as she shared adoring photos of the couple while writing ‘T minus 24 hours,’ after several months apart.

She cheekily posted a countdown that read “ Daddy’s house ” and she put a love song on the black and white photo of her kissing him on the cheek.

In a previous episode of her show, she revealed that the pandemic has given them more time together than ever before, due to their busy and conflicting work schedules.

Speaking of her sadness over leaving a few months ago, Ripa said: ‘It was a testament that we really love each other. I’m sad that I don’t wake up to him, it’s very sad. I will miss him, that’s all I can say.

The couple share three children together, Michael, 23, Lola, 19, and Joaquin, 17.
