“This is a summary of my six weeks of hosting @Jeopardy guests,” Jennings wrote in a tweet. “Thanks for watching, thanks for your patience with a tough learning curve … and, as always, thanks Alex.”

Trebek died on November 8, and jeopardy of all time! Champion Jennings was the first of several hosts invited to resume the trivia game as a permanent replacement is sought.

Future guest hosts include Danger! executive producer Mike Richards, journalist and author Katie Couric, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, 60 minutes Correspondent Bill Whitaker and actress and neuroscientist / actress Mayim Bialik.

It’s a farewell but not a farewell to Jennings, 46, who will serve as consultant producer on the show. He revealed in a tweet on Friday that future guest hosts include Dr Oz, NBC News presenter Savannah Guthrie, CNN presenter Anderson Cooper and CNN chief medical correspondent Dr Sanjay Gupta.

Jennings set the record for the longest winning streak in the game’s history. His 74 straight wins have earned him $ 2.52 million. He won the Danger! The greatest of all time tournament in 2020.
