The Kardashian-Jenner family are no strangers to Photoshop failures. The reality TV family has been called in for more photo-editing accidents that are nearly impossible to keep up with. Sadly, their latest mistake – courtesy of Kendall Jenner – is one that fans don’t let slip.
On February 12, the 25-year-old model took to social media to share a lingerie selfie taken while filming a Skims campaign alongside her sisters, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian. The photo quickly went viral, but not for the reasons she had probably hoped for.

Initially, fans seemed engrossed in Jenner’s iconic slim runway figure. Followers quickly took to Twitter, suggesting the photo could be harmful to girls and women who admired her and scolded her for setting unrealistic beauty standards for her impressionable fan base.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this but stop comparing yourself to Kendall Jenner”, one person tweeted. “She has money, surgery, lighting, photographers, editors, nutritionists, personal trainers, makeup artists, etc. You have an iPhone camera. She looks unreal but it ‘is his job. “

The conversation snowballed so much that Jenner, herself, tweeted, trying to empathize with her fans and soften the blow.

“I am an extremely lucky girl. I appreciate everything I have. But I want you to know that I have bad days too and that I hear you! You are beautiful as you are! not always as perfect as it sounds, “she wrote.

Although his post came from a good place, he didn’t do much to calm the chatter online. Fans continued to voice their concerns, with some even as skinny as the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star.
As the photo continued to tour online, fans have now alleged that the photo needs to be digitally edited.
“The Kardashians are the most insecure women in the world. Kendall Jenner needs Photoshop and plastic surgery herself to barely look like a human woman because she desperately desires external validation,” a fan tweeted.
It is also irresponsible to promote unreal and impossible standards of beauty. Real confidence comes from accepting yourself for who you are, and nothing is sexier than confidence. The Kardashians’ desire for outer perfection via surgery / Photoshop will never stop

Even Kendall Jenner Doesn’t Look Like Kendall Jenner If you think the Kardashians look that way naturally and not because of mass wealth, surgery, Photoshop, personal chefs and personal trainers, I I’m sorry but I don’t know what to tell you, “someone else wrote. “It’s not real, please – you are all so beautiful the way you are.”
The theory became so popular that the Problematic Fame Instagram account shared a technical analysis of the photo, highlighting irregularities that could be Photoshop evidence.
“Kendall is obviously very gorgeous, but it’s not her true body proportions or anyone’s,” the user wrote. “Please don’t compare yourself to heavily edited images. Even Kendall doesn’t look like this [in real life]. “
