Kenny Omega returns to the Impact for a long promo

Kenny Omega counts the days until history is made when he wins the World Championship from Rich Swann at the Impact. Rebellion PPV April 24. To fill the time before the big date, Omega walked around the impact zone to deliver a long promo.

Omega hit the ring with Don Callis by his side as the pair spoke about Omega’s greatness. The bulk of the 12-minute segment continued to cast doubt on Swann’s mind about the expulsion of the One Winged Angel. Although Swann has overcome so many challenges in his career, Callis believes the one thing Swann cannot overcome is the Winged Angel. No one has ever kicked it out.

Callis also made it clear that he will protect Omega’s legacy and greatness by protecting the Impact. Omega is looking forward to adding two more belts (Impact and TNA titles) to their collection. AT Rebellion, Omega will go down in history.

A long monologue reiterating the previous talking points is not exactly an exciting way to spark the fire and anticipatory desire for the Rebellion main event, but there were two things that caught my attention with interest.

The first was the montage of One Winged Angel. The climax reel is pretty awesome.

Second, the camera zoomed in on Omega’s latest pair of sassy fashion shoes. Simply wonderful!

Impact wrestling

It is important to point out that these shoes are indeed pointy.

When contacted for comment, Swann was unfazed and unfazed. He has fought adversity all his life. Swann gave Omega props for shooting him down with a one-winged angel. He added the caveat of the Good Brothers being involved in helping Omega at this main threesome event in Hard to kill. In all the singles encounters during this fight, Swann got the best of Omega in all situations. Swann has tricks up his sleeve to defend himself against the devastating maneuver, but what is Omega going to do to defend himself in all other situations.

As for Tony Khan’s weekly paid commercial, Kenny Omega and Don Callis came to join Khan earlier on the show. The champion ended up coming out insinuating that there was a greater than zero chance Matt Sydal could beat him Dynamite to win a title shot.
