FINALLY, some news. The Southeastern Conference has just announced that Kentucky at No.18 Missouri, originally scheduled for tomorrow night, will be played Wednesday night instead.. The game will begin at 7 p.m. ET at Mizzou Arena in Columbia and will air on ESPN2. There is no word on the availability of players.
Kentucky’s game against Texas on Saturday night was called off because the program was put on hold due to a combination of positive testing, contact tracing and the subsequent quarantine of people on the program. The SEC’s COVID-19 management requirements, as developed by the SEC’s Return to Activity and Medical Guidance Working Group, are available at SECsports.com (PDF).
As a result of the postponement, some changes were made to the SEC’s broadcast schedule. South Carolina in Florida will still be notified at 6:30 p.m. ET on the SEC network, followed by Vanderbilt at Texas A&M at 8:30 p.m., but the LSU game in Alabama at 7 p.m. ET will switch to ESPNU.
