Eleven suspects were arrested following the illegal registration of SIM cards
Two laptops and about fifteen thousand SIM cards were confiscated

On Thursday, a Safaricom employee linked to SIM exchange crimes was charged with computer fraud in an Eldoret court. saw police arrested a Safaricom employee and JKUAT student on fraud last week.
