Four students were sentenced to one year's imprisonment for arson in Yatta, Machakos County.

The fate that was badigned on Tuesday to Kithimani Law Courts was sentenced to imprisonment without a fine for arson, unlike the law.

The four had appeared before resident magistrate Gilbert Shikwe.

Burn a dormitory belonging to the Kithimani Mixed Secondary School in Yatta Sub County of Machakos County.

The court heard that the four; Antony Mwathiga, Dennis Ndung & u, Stephen Kago and Newyon Njoroge committed the act on July 31, 2016.
