Attorney General Paul Kihara accused professionals of encouraging bribery and lip service.
He also wants corrupt officials to leave office.
Addressing a Two-Day Congress of the Association of Professional Societies Yesterday in East Africa, the GA vowed that corruption would be wiped out during his tenure.
"When I came to this position, I knew the responsibility that lay with me," said the government's chief legal adviser.

Kiara regretted that Kenya has become a society where corruption is accepted.
He accused professionals such as doctors, architects, lawyers and politicians to promote the spread of vice.
"We, as professionals, steal and pillage," he said.
"Surprisingly, I see that many of these leaders flock to our offices asking that we recommend them good lawyers because they know that they have been abusing and that they need protection. On Thursday, the chief executive of EACC, Halakhe Waqo, said that lawyers, engineers and accountants were facilitating corruption in the country.
He challenged professional badociations to create mechanisms for self-regulation. Prevent their members from allowing corruption cases and ensure that they "live fully to the vocation of their profession."
