Life is not easy at all especially when you come from a community that insists on education and you do not have it.

This is no different than Wesley Kemboi, a resident of Moi's Bridge. The 21-year-old admits to having no interest in the school, all the more so as he was punished by his English teacher after failing to submit a duty in time.

Kemboi says that he He could hide in the market and sometimes go to the city of Eldoret to mingle with the street children when his parents forced him to go to school .

After several years of school, Wesley says that he bought a pigeon at Sh150 he was given by a good Samaritan in the city of Eldoret.

After about a year, the chick multiplied into several chickens

This was a turning point in Kemboi's life when he returned to one of the hotels in Eldoret where he was asked to provide chi

After a successful negotiation with the hotel manager, he was allowed to provide ten chickens each day to Sh350.

"I want to thank this person who helped me.He gave me the money and asked me to go buy a chick and today. I earn my living, "said Kemboi.

After a month of supplying chicken to a hotel, Kemboi looked for other hotels in town and to this day, he is a proud supplier of chickens in 15 different hotels, each taking at least 10 a day .

Each chicken is sold at Sh350, or 52,500 shillings that the 21-year-old man earns in one day.

He is now planning to hire even more hotels so that he can increase his income and expand the chicken business.
