Kanze Dena, a former TV star, landed a promotion to her state house position barely a month after her appointment.

Ms. Dena is now spokeswoman for the State House after her former boss, Manoah Esipisu, left the vacant post following her appointment to the embbady in the recent mini-government reshuffle.
Ms. Dena, who announced the changes on Friday 13 July, is now acting spokeswoman and head of the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit.
"Now that my boss Manaoh Esipisu has been redeployed, I wish to announce that I am acting State House spokesman," she said, announcing the cabinet reshuffle that affected at least two cabinet secretaries.
The mother of one has been phenomenal in her work since being appointed a month ago as a spokesperson for the Deputy House of Representatives.
Previously working as a Kiswahili anchor, his entry to State House saw messages on the presidential social media pages in English and Kiswahili. Ms. Dena sent statements on Presidents' activities in English and Kiswahili, which is the official national language.
