Two deaths after a tuk tuk accident in a pickup truck in Homa Bay

Two people died when the tuk tuk that they were colliding with a pickup in Homa Bay town on Sunday afternoon.

Caleb Odhiambo (27) and Micah Ogada (24) died at the scene accident at Makongeni market area along Homa Bay-Kendu Bay Road

A witness testified that the accident occurred while the tuk tuk driver was trying to overtake a motorcycle.

"The driver of the pickup truck suffered chest pains," said Marius Tum, a police commander, adding that he had been taken to the hospital and his car dragged to the Homa Bay Police Station. ]
