Omondi took his Instagram page to download a video imitating the couple
Lulu Hbadan, Swahili news anchor her husband Rashid Abdalla is ready to cast anchor on Citizen TV and comedian Eric Omondi has an idea of what it will be like.
Omondi took on his Instagram page to download a video imitating the couple and Kenyans were left in the stitches.
"So Citizen TV had @rashidyabdalla to read news alongside his wife @loulou_hbadan It will be historic," wrote the comedian Thursday.
Video drew nearly 100,000 views in just under 12 hours and most social media users said they were eager to see the couple on the air.
Citizen TV unveiled last week a refreshed team of news stars that would now support various shows.
The group included Swaleh Mdoe, Lulu Hbadan, Rashid Abdalla, Jamila Mohamed, Mwanahamisi Hamadi, Mashirima Kapombe, and Nimrod Taabu.
The video was widely shared on social media, but many were surprised by the fact that, for the first time, a couple anchors the news together.
"And if they go home thwarted one of the other" Bi Mswafari will have to reconcile them on the air, "Raych Ka Roki asked.
Bi Mswafari is often on TV to discuss issues that affect couples, give advice and highlight things that can be improved at home to make the marriage enjoyable.
Whereas the two are a couple (Lulu and Abdalla), many were wondering how they would work together if they had problems at home.
