Daystar starts looking for a new Vice Chancellor

The Daystar University began the process of recruiting a new Vice Chancellor following the dismissal of Professor Timothy Wachira last month because of student unrest.

A seven-member board Daystar Company board chairman, MacMillan Kiiru, Wednesday urged the team to immediately begin the process, July 31, on campus. Athi River.

"We pledge to ensure that the report of the task force is fully implemented and all senior officials of the University will be required to sign a code of conduct appropriate to a Christian institution", said Dr. Kiiru. was based on the recommendations of an independent working group established in April to address the disturbances that hit the institution.

Professor Wachira was put off in December after students protested, demanding his resignation.
