An author has launched a children's book based on the visit of former US President Barack Obama to his native village of K & # 0; Ogelo.

The book titled Obama's Bed which calls for cohesion among Kenyans, was launched yesterday at the K & # 39; Ogelo Resort. The center is located a few meters from the Sauti Kuu Foundation Professional, Sports and Resource Center that Mr. Obama will open today.

Writer Andrew Maina said he launched the book during Obama's visit to ensure the message of cohesion. "The book has a powerful message about cohesion, that we wanted to reach as many people as possible while we were trying to make the subject better known," says the author.

While children are the primary target audience of the book, Mr. Maina noted that it can also be read by adults. In the book, a girl named Wanjiku from Mount Kenya and other people from different regions visited Mama Sarah Obama's home as part of a program she runs.
