The Mac had many advantages over the PC, but with Windows 10, the PC has now filled the void. These days, the purchase of a PC gives you a lot more options compared to the Mac, which continues to stagnate. Steve Kovach: I have been a Mac user for over 15 years. I hated PCs. They came with a bunch of software that slowed down my machine, and they caught viruses too easily.

Steve: Then I discovered the Mac. And he had everything the PC did not have. But lately, I've grown frustrated with the Mac lineup. And while Apple has stalled its Mac lineup, Windows 10 computers have performed really well. So I decided to come back after a few days and I tested the new Huawei MateBook X Pro. What works under Windows 10 and starts at around $ 1200. Some have called the best laptop you can buy. And guess what, Windows is really great. And I can even like it better than my Mac.
Windows 8 has tried to be two operating systems in one. One for the office and one for the mobile. And he failed both. It even got rid of the iconic Windows Start menu. But Windows 10 has reversed many of these errors. The Start menu is back and it works great on the desktop. Windows 10 comes with Cortana. The Microsoft Digital Assistant. It can search through your computer files and even search the web. It's almost as good as Google search. [Windows9002] Windows 10 also has a lot more hardware options. You only have a few options when it comes to Mac and they all come with terrible compromises. But the Windows 10 hardware ecosystem has something for everyone. 2-in-1, convertibles, tablets, regular laptops, and everything in between. It allows you to work as you wish. Windows 10 machines make the MacBook lineup rather obsolete. Then there is the touch, which, in my opinion, is the key advantage of Windows 10. Many, if not, most Windows 10 computers have built-in
touch controls. Apple has refused to put touch screens on its Macs, even though people love to use them. Then there is the price. Windows 10 computers range from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars. You will always find something in your price range. But whatever Mac you choose, you can still expect to spend at least a thousand dollars.
The MateBook X Pro that I have tested is the perfect example of everything Windows 10 does correctly. This thing has everything. There is a beautiful touch screen with a minimum of glbades. And unlike MacBooks, it does not compromise on ports. There is the new USB-C and the clbadic USB standard. You do not have to worry about buying dongles to hook up all your accessories. Then there is the beautiful design, the cleverly hidden webcam, the fingerprint sensor, all in a tight package. It seems very good. If you had told me five years ago that a Windows laptop would have all these features, I would have never believed you.
So, what if you also want to make the change. It's actually quite easy. Today, most programs store all their stuff in the cloud. So, things like Slack and Gmail and bookmarks in your web browser synchronize, no matter what machine you use.
Of course, Windows 10 has some disadvantages. Windows 10 tablets are pretty bad. The choice of the application is not as good as on the iPad and if you just want a tablet, you are better with the iPad instead. It can also be difficult to switch if you already use Apple services such as iCloud, iMessage and Notes. This data can be quite difficult to transfer on a Windows PC.
But overall, the Windows 10 ecosystem is superb. And at a time when the Mac is showing no signs of improvement, Windows 10 has never been better. It's a twister of language, the Mate-
