BRIGHTON – Gov. Scott Walker on Wednesday named Brighton dairy farmer to be a member of the Wisconsin Dairy Task Force 2.0.
Dave Daniels, of Mighty Grand Dairy, is to join the task force's second incarnation, the governor's office said.
The
Daniels is one of 14 individual farmers appointed to the task force, including eight allied organizations and nine milk processors and marketers from throughout the state.
Walker announced the task forces at Wisconsin Farm Technology Days in Marshfield on Wednesday.

The first Wisconsin Dairy Task Force was formed in 1985 by the University of Wisconsin System and the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.
