Miss Lang & # 39; ata Prison 2016 Ruth Kamande, who was found guilty of murdering her boyfriend, yesterday asked the court to forgive her.
In her plea by her lawyer, she told High Court Judge Jessie Lesiit that she is very remorseful for the death of her boyfriend Farid Mohammed, 24, in Buru Buru.
Kamande was found guilty of killing Mohammed on September 20, 2015. She allegedly stabbed him 22 times with a knife.
sentenced Kamande, saying that the prosecution had proved beyond reasonable doubt that she was mischievous. She said she regretted her actions.
Prior to her arrest, Kamande told the court that she had been admitted to Kenyatta University where she was to pursue studies. She said that the case had shortened her dreams
She said that in prison she was attending other clbades and that she was disciplined.
However, the prosecution told the court that she had not shown remorse during the trial
. Kamande will be sentenced on July 19th.
