Lately, Oppo is in the headlines for an upcoming smartphone. Probably called Oppo A3, this device could be a lower mid-range model. Recent reports have indicated that the smartphone could be a degraded variant of the Oppo A3 launched in April in the company's Chinese market.
Now, Slashleaks shared the prototypes of Oppo A3s showing the design of the smartphone to the front and back the back.The prototype showing the front of the smartphone teases both features put forward – Big Battery and Dual Camera.

It seems to have the left volume rocker and a power button on the right. It seems to have a large screen likely to wear 19: 9 aspect ratio (remember that it has a notch), but the glbades on the top and the sides are not too thin. This should be acceptable as it is likely to belong to the lower mid-range market segment.
Moving backwards, it seems to have a dual camera configuration with both lenses positioned horizontally in the upper left corner. The LED flash module is next to the camera arrangement. The back panel seems to have only the camera and Oppo branding. In particular, there is no fingerprint sensor on both sides suggesting that the device might miss this aspect and rely solely on Face Unlock for biometric security.

Although there is no word regarding the cost of the high-end variant with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, it is thought that the device could arrive in red hues and dark purple.

The future Oppo smartphone is expected to offer a 6.2-inch IPS In-Cell LCD with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and a 19: 9 format like the Oppo A3. Under its hood, the smartphone could use a Snapdragon 450 SoC with 2GB / 3GB of RAM and 16GB / 32GB of storage space, both supporting expandable storage up to 256GB. Goodies are supposed to include Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.1, a 4230mAh battery, a 13MP + 2MP dual camera configuration, an 8MP selfie camera with AI Beauty 2.0, and Face Unlock.
