Absa collaborates with Intel to illuminate the sky of Joburg
Absa recently renamed Barclays Africa Group Limited has was renamed Absa Group Limited. This name change marks the beginning of a new era for Absa as an autonomous African group.
To celebrate this change, Absa badociates with the Intel technology company to organize a drone show or a show of "fireworks". on the city of Johannesburg, the first of its kind on the continent. In a statement, Absa Goup said that she had partnered with Intel to host the live drone show to show Absa's new goal: "bring your opportunity to life."
The show was composed of 300 individual drones greeting the audience with a "Hello Africa", before taking the form of the African continent and ending with the new logo of Absa making a 360 ° rotation under all angles.

African drone operators were skeptical because getting permission to fly drones in South Africa is a notoriously difficult and tedious process.

In response to this, Songezo Zibi, head of Absa Communications, told Business Insider written confirmation from the competent authorities has been obtained.
