About

Kerbal Space Program 2 is the sequel to Star Theory's famous Kerbal Space Program space flight simulator and Private Division.

With the original Kerbal space program becoming one of the most popular games of all time and now more important than ever, Kerbal Space Program 2 has been completely redesigned to meet the demands of modern space exploration and the next generation, while maintaining the monumental fundamentals of the first match. Build a space program, build powerful spacecraft, design resource-collecting colonies, and more to discover the secrets of the galaxy. A plethora of exciting new features will captivate veteran and return players, as well as usher in a new wave of Kerbonauts in the ingenious and comical world that has entertained millions of players.

Main characteristics

  • Onboarding improvedKerbal Space Program 2 will create a whole new generation of space flight experts who will accidentally learn rocket science. New animated tutorials, an improved user interface and fully reorganized assembly and flight instructions allow experienced and novice players to quickly put their creativity to the test without sacrificing the challenge of the original game.
  • Next generation technology – In Kerbal Space Program 2, the surprisingly inventive creations that make KSP famous will be brought to a whole new level. Players will be thrilled and challenged by engines, parts, fuel and more of the next generation. This new technology will not only create new puzzles to solve for players, it will also allow new space exploration feats within and beyond the original Kerbolar system.
  • Colonies – The Kerbal Space Program 2 is a novelty. These are colonies. These settlements pose not only physical problems, but also require the collection of resources for the construction of structures, space stations, dwellings and unique types of fuels. Eventually, these settlements become advanced enough for vehicle building, propelling deep space and beyond.
  • Interstellar travel – Technology, settlements and the systematic collection of next-generation resources lead to a whole new level of exploration: interstellar travel. In the Kerbal 2 space program, these interstellar technologies pave the way for a host of new celestial bodies, each with new challenges and new secret treasures. Among them: Sheep, a ringed super-Earth with a relentless gravity; Rask and Rusk, a binary couple locked in a death dance; and a lot more to reward exploration.
  • Multiplayer / Modding – Technological developments in the Kerbal Space Program 2 basics will build on the much-loved modding capabilities of the original game, as well as adding the long-awaited multiplayer. Soon, players will be able to share the challenges of deep space exploration. More details on these features will be revealed later.
