Last week, the Apple Card – a "physical alternative" to titanium over the brand's digital payment system – raised eyebrows when it was revealed that the card should not be kept in a wallet or in jeans with coins or others. As restrictive as it may seem, one company went so far as to create a specially designed case for the Apple Card.
The new case is produced by Kerfcase, a manufacturer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who makes wooden cases for devices such as iPhone and Android devices. The case of the Apple Card is similar: curved edges and craftsmanship exhibit materials and work of the highest quality. The box is available in four finishes: maple, walnut, spaltered maple and figured walnut. Each one has its own "background" behind its unique pattern and feel – the spangled maple, for example – is hard to harvest because you have to wait long enough for the [fungal infestation] to create beautiful patterns, "or how Figured Walnut comes from Robert Beauchamp," a retired California carpenter who saves walnut trees and finds their finest grain ".

Business is about solving problems. This week, the problem was that your Apple card would be corrupted by contact with leather and denim. @kerfcase present: https://t.co/RpyW0G0Shc #applecard#applecardjeans pic.twitter.com/BiNIuMO0vh

Nevertheless, the casing surrounds the titanium in an ironic wooden case, which also features a sliding lid, ejectable action and an ultra suede lining for the card to sit down. The case is 0.5 "thick and weighs 1.8 ounces. While the case may contain a similarly shaped credit card or business card, Kerfcase mentions that the case is specifically designed to hold a single card.
If you wish to buy, the Kerfcase card for Apple ranges from 39 USD to 139 USD and requires 1 to 3 weeks to be completed. Options also include custom engraving.
If you dare to risk it, Givenchy has released an iridescent portfolio that would also store the Apple card.
