Yesterday's match was bad. I'm not saying that Dodgers * should * walk Christian Yelich every plate look forever, but I do not say that. Whatever it is. Unless a wild trade, this is the last time the Dodgers will face Yelich (and Brewers) in the regular season. Yesterday, the Brewers won the series of the season with their fourth victory over the Dodgers in 2019. However, the Dodgers can still win this series with an Easter victory.

Clayton Kershaw starts today with an extra day of rest, Hyun-Jin Ryu rendered yesterday. Kershaw looked pretty keen at the start of the season, throwing seven rounds of two points on Monday. He authorized a first-run circuit (at Yasiel Puig, of course), but faced only two batters above the minimum in the next six innings and withdrew six without scoring a goal. Brim spoke in detail about Kershaw's release, and the sparknotes version is that Kershaw is still so good.
Kershaw has seen the Brewers twice in the regular season and three times in the NLCS in 2018, with generally satisfactory results. He had a clunker start in the first game of the NHLDS, as he gave four earned runs in three sets. He also competed in Games 5 and 7 (as a close) of the series and allowed one run, three hits and two walks in eight combined runs. He has participated six times in each of his regular season debut against the Brewers last season and has allowed three points overall.
Brandon Woodruff gets his fifth start for the Brewers this season. He faced the Cardinals twice and allowed two points for each of those starts. In his two games against the non-cardinals, Woodruff allowed four points each. Woodruff may be best known to Dodger fans for taking Kershaw to the heart of last year's NLCS first game, but he did rather well against the Dodgers. He throwing three times with relief and had two scoreless runs, two innings. His third raised appearance was strange, as he was getting up Wade Miley after a hitter. He made 5 1/3 in the appearance of "relief" and awarded three points. Woodruff also has five hits in seven appearances at the plate this year with two doubles.
ONE J. Pollock gets the day for the Dodgers with Alex Verdugo get the start in the center. Enrique Hernandez also returns to the formation after not having started the two intermediate parts of the series.

Russell Martin and Rich Hill Both will come back next weekend.
Martin will be with the team in Chicago and will not go on a re-education mission. Hill will take Ross StriplingPlace in the rotation after the next Stripling start. He will participate in an extended start in the spring tomorrow.

The Dodgers finally have a day off tomorrow, their first since April 4th. They will open a three-game series in Chicago Tuesday before heading home for a weekend series against the Pirates, who have somehow the best percentage of wins in the National League.
