First: The Warriors won a spectacular 3-0 win over the Rockets on Thursday, rising 3-2 in the series. This means that Golden State has two weaknesses to eliminate Houston and reach the finals of the Western Conference. It also means that there will definitely be at least one more game at Oracle Arena.
Important news: Kevin Durant suffered what appeared to be a non-contact leg injury, which the Warriors call being a calf sprain with an upcoming MRI on Thursday. Based on Durant's reaction (he had the impression that some had kicked him), some fear it might be a tear from Achilles. But there are indications that the injury is minor. Everyone should hope for it. Durant is an absolute joy to watch and one of the most important players in the league.
Fortunately, we did not have many injuries during the playoffs, excluding the poor fortune of Joel Embiid and the sad exit of Cousins DeMarcus. Do not change that now.
