Marvel Cinematic Universe architect Kevin Feige teases what lies ahead in Phase 4 with Shang-Chi, Eternals, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
MCU Mastermind Kevin Feige teases what to expect from the rest of Phase 4. It took a little while for the franchise to reboot after the Infinity Saga due to the coronavirus pandemic. So far, there have already been three Disney + shows in WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki, and a movie in Black Widow.
But, Marvel Studios is just getting started with Phase 4. There is still a slew of movies and series that should be rolling out. For the remainder of 2021, there are three movies and at least one show on the schedule that will keep Feige and his team busy. Apart from this, there are also several projects at different production levels, with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever having just started production while Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder are currently in post-production.
Feige and most of the folks at Marvel Studios are generally silent on their upcoming list, but in a new video with Rotten tomatoes, the producer sits down and previews what will happen for the rest of phase 4. This includes information on how they started production for Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings and Eternals, as well as how they deal with the expansion of the universe. During his years at the helm of Marvel Studios, Feige has mastered the art of revealing no spoiler details in his numerous press appearances, and that’s exactly what he did in the aforementioned clip. That doesn’t mean the clip isn’t interesting anymore; it has some intriguing material, including the producer’s explanation of how he plans to keep the MCU going for the foreseeable future. Feige once again cites the comics as his inspiration, citing that over the course of Marvel Comics’ 70 years, stories of various reach have been told, and he’s confident they’ll be able to translate them on. large or small screen. Particularly named MCU architect Loki as a project that tackles a larger narrative while dealing with a personal story.
Overall, it looks like Feige has a pretty good idea of where he wants to take the MCU go forward. So far, Phase 4 has a confirmed list, with other projects due to enter Phase 5, such as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Blade. Plot details are still scarce at this time when it comes to upcoming stories and the new overall story that Marvel Studios is building, and Marvel Studios doesn’t seem willing to disclose any spoilers just yet.
