Dylan Syer | was in New York City court on Wednesday on his grand theft indictment and 9 other counts … after allegedly using Kevin’s credit card information to launder money on his own account, then burn.
Queens County DA Melinda Katz Syer said built trust with Kevin when he was hired in 2015 by making legitimate and authorized purchases on Kevin’s behalf. However, Katz claims Syer started siphoning off hundreds of thousands of Hart’s credit cards, depositing the dough into his own bank account.
He wasn’t saving for a rainy day either – Syer would have spent generously on himself. Overall, prosecutors say Kevin was defrauded of nearly $ 1.2 million over almost 2 years. Much of this would have been used to buy expensive jewelry, watches, works of art, collectibles and luxury handbags.
DA says Syer’s transport included 5 Patek Philippe watches valued at over $ 400,000, a Sam friedman painting, at least 16 Bearbrick collectible dolls, 5 KAWS collectible dolls and 2 Louis Vuitton bags.
Prosecutors attempt to seize all the loot that Syer allegedly bought, so they get Kevin’s money back.
