Khabib Nurmagomedov's father on the future of the UFC "The eagle" – "30 -0, enough is enough"

Khabib Nurmagomedov has scored 28 consecutive victories this weekend (Saturday, September 7, 2019) by surprising Dustin Poirier in the third round of his match for the unification of the title at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi.

Poirier in action, rumors about the possible retirement of "The Eagle's" surfaced, even though Khabib himself did not hesitate to say even though he did not know when his time to leave would come.

According to his father and coach, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, he believes that after two more wins, it would be the perfect time for his son (30 years old) to act as if nothing had happened.

"For Khabib, 30-0 is enough," Abdulmanap said in an interview with Russian outlet TASS on BJPenn.com.

Being so dominant for so long can hurt his mind and body, but Khabib seems ready to go even further if he decides to do so. That said, Nurmagomedov is holding his father's advice very high, so it would be interesting to see what would happen if former Nurmagomedov decided it was time to stop fighting.

One thing is certain, Abdulmanap wants the final Khabib fight to take place in Moscow.

"Regarding his last fight, we would of course like his defense of the final title to take place in Moscow," added Abdulmanap.

In fact, it would be an ideal way for Nurmagomedov to go out because he has not yet fought in his home country while he was under the banner of the UFC. The promotion has already staged an event in Moscow and is gearing up for another event with the UFC Fight Night 163 on November 9, which will feature a Heavyweight bout between Alexander Volkov and Junior dos Santos.

One thing is certain, the promotion should make it a very heavy card if it wants to put it in pay-per-view (PPV) mode. That or they can just book a rematch with Conor McGregor, which is sure to do a lot. We know that "Notorious" is down.

As for the sequel to Khabib, he will look to win the victory, number 29, possibly against Tony Ferguson, who is the favorite to get the next games.
