Rocksteady Entertainment reveals a new batch of character posters for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, one of which slyly teases the Joker.

Rocksteady Entertainment has unveiled a new collection of character posters for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, offering a better overview of the main characters of the game.

Each poster features a titular Suicide Squad member staring at the camera in an intimidating manner. King Shark, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, and Deadshot are all in attendance, each posing with their weapon of choice. While King Shark’s Machete and Deadshot’s Rifle are menacing in their overall size, Harley’s Revolver sports a fun detail. The words “Who’s laughing now?” Suggesting that the chaotic antihero fell out with the Joker. It is currently unknown whether Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League frames the couple as a separated couple or if they will present an original vision of the toxic relationship. Each of the images was posted by a different developer at Rocksteady Entertainment.

As for other important details, it’s also worth noting that Harley Quinn sports a wired cricket bat rather than a baseball bat. It is not known how she came to use the modified weapon, but it is possible that it was given to her by her Aussie teammate, Captain Boomerang. King Shark is seen wielding his gigantic machete, but a recent clip from the game sees the villainous man-eater blasting enemies with a minigun. It’s likely that characters will be able to switch between ranged weapons and melee weapons in combat.

The individual posters of the characters appear to be extensions of the recently revealed key art of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. This singular piece of art showed the faces of the team looking at the camera, apparently paying homage to the first issue of The boys or NWA’s first studio album Straight out of Compton.
