Khonshu's fist finally arrives in the Marvel cinematic universe. Announced by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige at D23 this weekend, the news quickly plunged fans into a frenzy when they discovered that they were going to see the cult classic Marc Spector live- action. The buzz has sent the fan artists in overdrive mode and now we have one of the best fan art pieces to date, courtesy of model makeup artist Raf Grassetti.

Grassetti – who heads Sony Santa Monica's arts department – shared some drawings from Moonie fans earlier in the day. If you are a fan of Moonie, you may be excited. Featuring Spector's classic white suit, the artwork also includes the iconic pointy hood. The art also uses gold as a fairly smooth accent color, adding a whole new level of depth to the character's costume. You can see the work in all its splendor below.

Knight of the moon is probably at the very beginning of development without a writer or director attached at the moment.
