Since the news that Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from Kanye West, burning questions have remained unanswered; questions like, Who will get the 14 magnificent Friesian horses? and, Who will keep the haunted mansion? In a reportedly friendly split – Kim and Kanye plan to share custody of their four children; no one disputes the terms of the deal – the couple’s Los Angeles home is said to be a point of contention. Apparently Kim owns the land, while Kanye owns the house herself. An unusual situation, as you can see, but which can now have a resolution. According to TMZ, the haunted mansion should go to Kim.

Why “haunted” you ask? Mainly because of the setting: Kim and Kanye stuck with a palette of ghosts and tackled the kind of empty vaulted hallway that looks like an echo. Many rooms have just a whisper of furniture (very beautiful, it has to be said). Kanye is extremely into design and led the charge on minimalist aesthetics – “Futuristic Belgian monastery” was how he put it. Architectural summary – enrollment Axel Vervoordt to revamp the “McMansion” chosen by Kim. But Kim would also love the house, and much of her family lives in the same Hidden Hills neighborhood.

Indeed, Kim herself has been living there with the couple’s children – North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm – for a few months. For TMZ, staying in place would bring them “essential stability”. Meanwhile, the tabloid does not say where Kanye could permanently move if this is all true, despite having been at his Wyoming ranch for much of the pandemic.

And speaking of Wyoming, what about the 14 magnificent Friesian horses ?? Still no answers on this score, I’m afraid, although this may be one of the problems of the last season of keeping up with the Kardashians will chop.
