Kim Kardashian West's Thierry Mugler Crystalline Silk and Organ Dress for this week's Met Gala may have seemed exciting, but the dress would have been both hard to put on and wear.

Kardashian West had to be made by the famous corset maker Mr. Pearl in a corseted jumpsuit before wearing the waisted silicon dress inspired by a wet shirt dress worn by Sophia Loren in "Boy on a Dolphin" in 1957, according to Vogue.

"Anna, if I do not sit down for dinner, now you know why," she laughs, referring to Anna Wintour, Vogue's editor-in-chief. Kardashian West tried to sit down with the suit for the Vogue cameras. "I can only half sit," she decided.

"It's like it's beyond what I thought was sewing," said Kardashian West wearing his dress.

"I will not be able to pee until about four o'clock," she told Vogue's camerapeople. "So we develop a plan of what we do in an emergency."

She also admitted that she would stay standing while standing at a post in the car on the balloon path.

"Wish me just good luck," she said.

The reality star said in preparation for the look that she had undergone three facials in one week, a tanning spray and a Korean scrub.

Kardashian West stated that she had a habit of sitting on her bed and watching star pictures on the Met Gala's red carpet, which began in 1948, dreaming that She could go there someday and adding that she was "humiliated" to be a cover girl for Mugler.
