Kings Canyon is back Apex Legends– with a twist. The first battle royale arena has returned to rotation and brings the Mirage Voyage, which now floats above the Broken Coast. Players can visit the arena until January 21.

The occasion marks the first time players can dive into the arena in the normal rotation since the start of the final season on November 4. Respawn removed Kings Canyon from rotation with the launch of Mountain peakThe last map of Olympus. But now the card has made a rapid comeback.

The rotation allows players to travel to the most recent version of Kings Canyon, but with a twist: the Mirage Voyage floats above the broken coast where Skull Town once stood. Areas provided with the latest map updates, including Crypto’s Map Room, Recovery, and Capacitor, are also available normally.

The Mirage Voyage appeared as part of the takeover of the town of Mirage during the Holo-Day Bash 2019. It was parked in the northwest corner of World’s Edge until the map was updated. season six, which removed the train, added three new POIs, and removed the travel from the arena.

City takeovers are usually permanent additions to maps, and travel was an exception to this rule. With its new home in Kings Canyon, however, it looks like Respawn will maintain city takeovers in-game indefinitely, even if the developers are just mixing up the location a bit.

Kings Canyon will not be part of the regular rotation at this time. The card’s short-lived surprise appearance is only live until January 21. This gives players about a week to relive Mountain peakthe first card of – at least until its likely return in the coming season.
