You may want to stop reading here and catch the Kleenex. All together? KJ Apa remembered Luke Perry, his father "Riverdale", during Friday's "Tonight Show". It was a really interesting segment.

"It's not every day you meet a guy like Luke," Apa told Jimmy Fallon. "Luke is the kind of person who did everything in his power to make anyone big or small, feel comfortable and welcome."

"It's hard to say how I feel," Apa added.

Apa, moved, told Fallon that his father and father on TV "had a very close relationship". It was the same with his father and his father.

"He phoned my parents every week and kept them informed of the situation [doing], Remembers Apa. "It's like I have a cold or something, it's like, I took Gatorade home the other day."

"My father and he were boys who were texting, etc.," continued Apa, who plays Archie Andrews in the drama of adolescence. "He made a huge effort from the start … I'd like to be like that."

Looks like you've come across a great way to try to honor this man, KJ.

Watch the video above, where Apa and Fallon also show perhaps the most beautiful picture of Perry ever taken.

Stay in love, brother.

The last episode "Riverdale" Fred Andrews (Perry) was broadcast this week on the channel "CW". Read all about this here.
