An MRI confirmed that Klay Thompson, the guard of the Golden State Warriors, had been slightly tense at the left hamstring during the second game of the NBA finals.
Thompson was injured in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win in the Golden Raptors against the Toronto Raptors when he landed clumsily after hitting his leg while trying to cheat.
He tested his leg in the tunnel after suffering the injury before finally being dismissed for the rest of the game.
Thompson joins the list of wounded warriors
Thompson played a pivotal role in Sunday's Golden State win, scoring the Warriors' first nine points en route to the top of the 25-team. His absence on Wednesday would be a blow to a Golden State team already in short supply, composed of Kevin Durant and Kevon Looney.

Looney probably made for the series
Durant's status is unclear after his seven playoff matches missed with a calf strain in the fifth game of the semifinals of the Western Conference. The team confirmed that Looney suffered a broken collarbone in the second game. He is probably ready for the series.
In addition to being one of Golden State's best shooters and threatening to score, Thompson is a defender of the elite perimeter considered by Raptors star Kawhi Leonard.
