Klay Thompson leaves match 6 with a knee injury

Thompson was helped out of the field in the third quarter after suffering the injury, but returned from the tunnel to make free throws.

He was injured during a tricky landing during an attempted dunk on which he was stained. If he had left the game without throwing free throws, he would not have been allowed to return.

ESPN's Doris Burke then said he was excluded from the rest of the match because of his injury.

Thompson made both free throws after his brief return and again left the game at the next stoppage of the game.

Thompson was seen on crutches in the tunnel after being sidelined.
