Rapper Kodak Black and three others were arrested after allegedly attempting to cross the Canada-US border with guns and marijuana, officials told NBC News on Thursday.

The 21-year-old rapper missed concerts at the House of Blues in Boston on Wednesday night after being arrested at the Lewiston-Queenston International Bridge near Buffalo a few hours before the show began, officials said. Complex reported that the rapper's team members did not know at the show why he had not arrived yet.

Kodak (born Dieuson Octave, but legally changed his name to Bill K. Kapri last year), 21, and Jeantony Saintmelus, 22, were charged with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession marijuana, said state police at NBC. Judges Stetson, President, 24, and Madarrow D. Smith, 20, were charged with alleged criminal possession of a weapon.
