The rumors were true! Konami has announced that three collections of classic game franchises will arrive on the Nintendo Switch later this year.
Nicknamed the birthday collection, each pack contains a multitude of classic games to choose from. The first, Arcade Classics, will be launched on April 18 and will include Haunted Castle, Typhoon, Nemesis (Gradius), Vulcan Venture (Gradius 2), Life Force, Thunder Cross, Scramble and Twin Bee. The collection will be available for digital purchase only for $ 19.99.
We then have the Castlevania collection. This one presents Castlevania, Castlevania: III Curse of Dracula, Castlevania II: The Revenge of Belmont (Game Boy) and Super Castlevania IV. Also included are four titles to announce. (Hoping to see Symphony of the Night!) Expect it to be launched early this summer!
Finally, we have Contra. This collection includes the original titles Contra, Super Contra, Super C, Contra III: The Alien Wars, and four other titles. It will be launched in the beginning of summer 2019 in digital download!
