Krispy Kreme and Hershey have released a line of S’mores donuts

It’s National S’mores Day which means you now have an excuse to pull out those marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers at noon to celebrate what we think should be a nationally recognized holiday. But before you go make a campfire in your kitchen or search the woods for sticks, there’s an easier way to get your hands on your favorite campsite.

Krispy Kreme and Hershey’s have collaborated to create two perfect holiday treats. Starting today, you can get your hands on an S’mores Classic Donut or an S’mores Fudge Cake Donut.

The classic is filled with KREME ™ Marshmallow, dipped in Hershey Chocolate Frosting and dusted with graham cracker crumbs. It is basically a s’more disguised as a socially acceptable pastry to eat in the morning. The other version of s’mores starts with a fudge cake donut, then is dipped and decorated with marshmallow frosting and Hershey’s chocolate frosting before finishing with chocolate chips on top.

This isn’t the first time that Krispy Kreme and Hershey’s have collaborated to create the ultimate donut. In 2018, there was the Hershey’s Golden Donut for the Olympic Winter Games. Last year, the duo brought back their three donut selections from Reese, and the classic has become a permanent menu item.

In the past, Krispy Kreme has never shied away from experimenting and got quite outrageous with their limited-time releases like the Pina colada flavor, release of mini donuts and strawberry frosting.

The two new s’mores donuts may outlast your campfire, but they won’t be around forever. Visit your nearest Krispy Kreme to try them out.
