Starting August 30, the chain is offering anyone with proof of vaccination two free donuts every day until September 5. The promotion follows full approval by the United States Food and Drug Administration of the Pfizer / BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine on Monday.

In March, the chain began its promotion to encourage people to get vaccinated with one free donut per day for the rest of the year. So far, Krispy Kreme has said it has distributed more than 2.5 million donuts as part of the deal.

The chain also makes a special heart-shaped donut to give away, in addition to a traditional frozen donut.

“We were all hoping that we were near the end of this pandemic now. We are not,” Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme chief marketing officer, said in a press release. “So please consider getting the vaccine if you haven’t already. And then enjoy and share two amazing donuts with our sincere thanks.”

Krispy Kreme has said he will continue his daily free donut campaign until the end of the year. To benefit from it, customers must present their vaccination record. Anyone who has received at least one injection of Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines is eligible.

The channel recently went public, but its share price could use a sugar shake. The shares have fallen about 18% since its debut on July 1.
