Krispy Kreme is sweetening its vaccine promotion by offering every American who has received at least one COVID-19 vaccine two free donuts anytime from August 30 through September. 5.
To mark the occasion of the approval of the Pfizer vaccine by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the donut chain will offer two free donuts to every American who can provide proof of at least one injection of the COVID vaccine. -19.
“The approval of any of the vaccines by the FDA is an important step in making people much more comfortable with the way they take the vaccines,” Krispy Kreme CEO Mike Tattersfield told USA TODAY. “And if we can cheer people on, we’ll be giving away a second donut next week that’s shaped like a heart.”
The week-long “Show Your Heart” promotion includes a free Original Glazed Donut and a free Original Glazed Heart Donut.
Heart-shaped donuts will also be available for purchase during the week.
Following the end of the one-week extra free donut promotion, Krispy Kreme will continue its original promotion of a free original daily glazed donut with proof of at least one COVID-19 shot through the end of 2021 .
The donut shop currently has three locations in New Jersey: Collingswood, Jersey City and Springfield.
